                             RESOLUTION NO.   20436 
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
                   EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH ASSOCIATED
                   ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES, INC. FOR CONSULTING
                   SERVICES ON HAZARDOUS WASTE SITES OWNED BY
                   THE CITY AND TO INCUR ALL OTHER REASONABLE
                   EXPENSES RELATING TO SAID SITES.

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Mayor be and is hereby 
authorized
       to execute an Agreement with Associated Environmental Services,
       Inc. for consulting services on hazardous waste sites owned by 
the
       City; and
       	    	 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor may incur all
       other reasonable and necessary expenses relating to the
       investigation, remediation, negotiations with the Tennessee
       Department of Environment and Conservation, Division of 
Superfund,
       or litigation arising from said sites.
